Hearing and Speech Clinics
As you study communication science and disorders, gain real-world clinical experience here through our Center for Hearing and Balance — unique to northeastern Pennsylvania — that offers coordinated and comprehensive services devoted specifically to diagnosing, treating, restoring, and maintaining the function of the auditory and vestibular systems; as well as our Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic that provides various diagnostic, therapeutic, and counseling services for children and adults.
Research Experiences
Conducting research helps prepare for graduate school, as well as entering the workforce with added marketability. You’re able to pursue your interests, hone your problem-solving skills, and challenge yourself in new ways. Research reminds you to keep an open mind and be ready to absorb, process, and analyze new information. Designated by the National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education, our digital forensics program has meet stringent criteria in curriculum, faculty, research, and demonstrated an institution-wide commitment to information assurance practices and education. This means our graduates are among the most qualified entering the competitive field of cyber security.
