The Biology minor provides depth and breadth of knowledge in the basic biological sciences while also allowing students to select upper level elective courses tailored to their post-graduate education and/or career goals.

Courses and Curriculum
Upon completion of the minor students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of core concepts in biology (molecules to ecosystems)
- Demonstrate the ability to apply critical, analytical, and integrative thinking to biological problems
- Demonstrate skill using appropriate scientific methods and instruments
- Clearly communicate biological ideas in both written and oral form
