Albert Jones, a Lock Haven University alumnus and former member of its Council of Trustees, will serve as the inaugural chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer (CDEIO) for Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield universities, effective Monday, July 26. Jones' home office will be at Lock Haven University.

The agreements will allow qualified students to earn both an undergraduate degree and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in seven years, saving a full year of time and costs.

Julia Burcin approved as a member of the Bloomsburg University Council of Trustees
Rising junior Julia Burcin was approved to serve as the student representative on the university’s Council of Trustees. The vote to approve Burcin is part of the new Act 50 law and came recently at Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education Board of Governors meeting.
