Dining on campus isn’t one size fits all, so our meal plans are designed to meet your unique needs. If you're looking to enjoy a meal with friends or just a snack on the go — we’ve got options to fit every appetite.

It all starts with our flagship all-you-care-to-eat dining facility, Bentley Hall. Here you’ll dine on hearty home-cooked meals, fresh out of the oven pizza, and house-made desserts. And then on your way out, hit up the Bentley Market for a fresh smoothie and your favorite snack treats.

Other convenient stops can be made to Chick-fil-A, Grille Works, or the Italian Kitchen. Burgers right off the griddle, crispy chicken sandwiches pulled out of the friar, and brick oven-baked calzones are always appetizing choices!

Our dining services provide a range of delicious and healthy options with effortless meal plans that are on your schedule. These consist of meal swipes and FLEX dollars, conveniently loaded onto your student ID. They unlock delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more without needing to carry additional cards or cash.

Meal Plans

The number of meal swipes available depends on which meal plan you selected. If you have a block plan, you begin the semester with the total number of meal swipes you have for use over the course of the semester. If you have a per-week plan (10, 14 or 19), you are allotted a specific number of meal swipes for each week of the semester. Per-week meal swipes must be used the week they are allotted. Meal swipes will not carry over to the next week. The meal plan week starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday.

Using your CU username and password, you can log in to Transact eAccounts at any time to check your meal plan usage and FLEX balance.

  • You may add a meal plan for Fall 2023 in MyHousing Self-Service at any time.
  • The last day to cancel or switch to a lower value Fall 2023 meal plan is August 27, 2023. Requests must be made in writing by emailing housing@lockhaven.edu.
  • All students living in a traditional residence hall or Fairview Suites are required to have a residential meal plan.
  • Campus Village residents may select a residential or commuter meal plan.
  • Evergreen Commons residents, off-campus students, and commuter students may sign up for a residential or commuter meal plan by completing the Off Campus Dining Plan Agreement in MyHousing Self-Service.

Meal Plans & FLEX

Traditional (Per-week) meal plans allow students to eat up to six meals per day (one meal per transaction), up to the number of meals available per week based on the meal plan chosen. The meal plan week starts on a Thursday and ends on a Wednesday. When you sign up for a  per-week meal plan, you'll choose whether you want $250 or $300 in FLEX at the start of each semester.

FLEX is a declining balance account available to use at any Lock Haven campus dining location. All per-week and block meal plans include either $250 or $300 in FLEX at the start of each semester. Uses of FLEX include, but are not limited to, supplementing a meal beyond cash equivalency, grabbing a snack between classes, getting your favorite gourmet coffee or even buying a gift basket for someone special.

Upper campus, off-campus or commuter students can opt to purchase meals using FLEX only. To start using FLEX without a meal plan, you can voluntarily add funds on a one-time basis in MyHousing Self-Service at any time throughout the semester.

Notices
  • FLEX is accepted at all campus dining facilities.
  • FLEX can be used during the fall and spring semesters only. Any balance remaining at the end of the spring semester is non-refundable, non-transferable, and will be forfeited.
  • Funds can be added through MyHousing Self-Service ($500 minimum deposit - Additions in any amount beyond $500 are acceptable). FLEX added after the semester starts will be available to use within 8 hours. A charge will be added to your Student Account within 2 business days and should be paid within 10 days.
  • Students who selected a meal plan will automatically be credited with the FLEX associated with the selected meal plan. Voluntarily adding FLEX should only be done by students electing to only use FLEX for meals or students with a meal plan who are low on their original credit of FLEX associated with their meal plan.
  • Haven Dollars are not the same as FLEX Dollars. FLEX is for campus dining services use only. Haven Dollars is a campus-only, multi-purpose debit account administered by the University Card Center that cannot be used in campus dining locations. 

Note: FLEX expires at the end of the school year.

Enhancements

Each meal plan comes with 5 guest meals that can be used at Upper Bentley, our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall.

You may also use your meal swipe outside of Upper Bentley Dining Hall. Your meal has a cash equivalency value at our retail locations, including Chick-fil-a & the Italian Kitchen.

Other Accounts

Haven Dollars is the name of our vending and laundry money account service.

Haven Dollars are not the same as FLEX dollars and funds cannot be transferred between the two. Flex Dollars are used in the dining hall and the affiliated dining areas only. Haven Dollars can be put on your student ID for laundry by visiting the Haven Dollars website or by visiting the Haven Dollars kiosk in Bentley Dining Hall, next to the ATM.
