Management (Minor)
The Management minor is designed to complement a student's chosen major by adding a broad exposure to management principles and techniques. The minor prepares students with foundational knowledge and skills to be successful in management/supervisory roles in their major disciplines and/or occupation.

Professor / Assistant Chair
The minor consists of 18 credits. There are additional prerequisites for two of the elective courses, but that will not incur additional credits for business majors because those prerequisites are required for business majors. Non-business majors can avoid the additional prerequisite credits by choosing the other two elective options.

Management Minor Requirements
- 18 credits required for minor completion
- Students should meet with their academic advisor each semester and use Degree Works to monitor their individual progress toward completion of the minor.
Students who complete the program will be able to:
- Evaluate how to deploy management functions.
- Identify best practices related to management of human resources.
- Develop management practices that maximize positive employee behaviors.
- Analyze how culture and international business operations affect businesses.
