Management (Minor)

The Management minor is designed to complement a student's chosen major by adding a broad exposure to management principles and techniques. The minor prepares students with foundational knowledge and skills to be successful in management/supervisory roles in their major disciplines and/or occupation.

The minor consists of 18 credits. There are additional prerequisites for two of the elective courses, but that will not incur additional credits for business majors because those prerequisites are required for business majors. Non-business majors can avoid the additional prerequisite credits by choosing the other two elective options.

Total credits required for minor
  • 18 Credits
    • At least 12 of the 18 credits must be earned at Commonwealth University.
    • A minimum 2.0 cumulative average must be achieved in the course counted for the minor.
