Craig A. Young is a professor of education in the College of Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities and Education. He teaches undergraduate preservice teachers and specializes in ELA and social studies methods. His research focuses on diversity in children’s literature, particularly LGBTQIA+ representation in picture books. He is currently co-editor of the Journal of Children’s Literature, which is published by the Children’s Literature Assembly of the National Council of Teachers of English.
