Working Towards A Harassment-Free Workplace

This is no place for harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct.

  • Respect pronouns.
  • Respect boundaries.
  • Educate yourself on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Do not comment on an individual’s appearance.
  • Do not use sexual language, tell sexual jokes, or use sexual innuendos.
  • Do not use slurs, slang, or swear. In the work place, do not be casual - keep it more formal.
  • Refrain from humor or sarcasm that could be misinterpreted.
  • If you wouldn’t want the public to see it, don’t write it.
  • Respect boundaries and personal space.
  • Do not physically touch someone without consent.
  • Do not take an individual’s picture without consent.
  • Wear respectful and professional attire.
  • Use caution with gifts in the workplace.
  • Be respectful at all times.
  • Avoid polarizing images.
  • Do not display racist images.
  • Do not display sexual images.
  • Just because you can post, doesn’t mean you should.
  • Maintain a professional environment comfortable for everyone.
