Working Towards A Harassment-Free Workplace
This is no place for harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct.
- Respect pronouns.
- Respect boundaries.
- Educate yourself on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
- Do not comment on an individual’s appearance.
- Do not use sexual language, tell sexual jokes, or use sexual innuendos.
- Do not use slurs, slang, or swear. In the work place, do not be casual - keep it more formal.
- Refrain from humor or sarcasm that could be misinterpreted.
- If you wouldn’t want the public to see it, don’t write it.
- Respect boundaries and personal space.
- Do not physically touch someone without consent.
- Do not take an individual’s picture without consent.
- Wear respectful and professional attire.
- Use caution with gifts in the workplace.
- Be respectful at all times.
- Avoid polarizing images.
- Do not display racist images.
- Do not display sexual images.
- Just because you can post, doesn’t mean you should.
- Maintain a professional environment comfortable for everyone.
