MEET CU'S COMMUNITY SCHOLARS: MCKENNA ZELLERS

McKenna Zellers, of Sunbury, is a nursing major and 2023 graduate of Shikellamy High School. Zellers is also currently a patient care technician with the Geisinger Health System as she pursues her bachelor’s degree as part of CU–Bloomsburg’s Class of 2027.

“I learned of the Community Scholars Award around the same time I was accepted into Bloomsburg’s nursing program. As an Early College student (at the time), I knew Commonwealth University was committed to helping local students.

Along with the reputation of Bloomsburg’s nursing program and knowing the impact of the community scholarship, it only convinced me further I was meant to be a Husky!”
