MEET CU'S COMMUNITY SCHOLARS: ALIAH MEYER

Aliah Meyer, of Mansfield, is a psychology major with a minor in criminal justice. She chose Mansfield because of the immediate connection she felt with the campus and the close proximity to her family. Aliah works as a daycare teacher’s assistant in Big Flats, N.Y., while she pursues her degree. Her plan for the future is to attend law school and become an attorney.

“This scholarship means a lot to me as I am a first-generation college student. I am extremely grateful to be able to have the opportunity to earn a Community Scholars award, because it will allow me to achieve my goals without financial burden, allowing me to focus on my studies and personal growth.”
