Green Campus Speaker: The Anthropocene in Three Stories

One simple and impartial truth: If we want to persist on this little blue planet, we must learn to live within our means is part of the message from Dr. Eric Miller.
Over the past two decades, scientists, historians, writers, and activists have begun to refer to this period as the Anthropocene-the human era in geologic time. At once compelling and controversial, this frame situates our moment amid a usable past, present, and future, three stories with the power to shape our collective self- concept and guide our corporate behaviors. Dr. Miller is a faculty member in the Communication Studies Department, here at Commonwealth University - Bloomsburg.
Admission is free and open to the public.
