Financial aid funds will be tentatively disbursed to the university as follows. Funds not needed to cover the student's bill will be refunded approximately 3-5 business days after these dates. 

Tentative Disbursement Dates

Summer 2024 (Term Dates 5/20/24 to 8/09/24)
The following information is for federal loans only.  All grants will be disbursed 07/10/24 regardless of what session you are taking credits.  If you have a private educational alternative loan, you may contact the Office of Financial Aid to determine an approximate date of disbursement.

  • Session 1 (5/20/24 - 8/09/24): If you are enrolled in both Session 1 and Session 3, you must be enrolled at least half-time (undergraduate 6 credits - graduate 3 credits) in Session 1 to have funds disbursed on 06/05/24 otherwise disbursement will be 07/10/24.
  • Session 2 (5/20/24 - 6/28/24): If you are enrolled in both Session 2 and Session 3, you must be enrolled at least half-time (undergraduate 6 credits - graduate 3 credits) in Session 2 to have funds disbursed on 06/05/24 otherwise disbursement will be 07/10/24.
  • Session 3 (7/1/24 - 8/09/24): 07/10/24.

Fall 2024 (Term Dates 8/26/24 to 12/12/24)
The tentative first disbursement date for the semester is 09/05/24.  Subsequent disbursements for the semester will tentatively occur each Wednesday after that.
Winter 2024 (Term Dates 12/16/24 to 1/24/25)
To Be Determined - only private educational alternative loans may be disbursed during the winter term. If federal/state aid is awarded based on the winter term credits, funds will be disbursed with the spring term disbursement if eligible. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid if you plan to take winter term credits to discuss your options.
Spring 2025 (Term Dates 1/27/25 to 5/15/25)
The tentative first disbursement date for the semester is 02/06/25.  Subsequent disbursements for the semester will tentatively occur each Wednesday after that.

Direct Deposit Option

Students who have not signed up for direct deposit will have the funds mailed to their home address. If you have not signed up for direct deposit and wish to do so, please contact the Student Billing Office.
