Associate Professor
Commonwealth University's Safety Management certificate program provides basic knowledge and professional skills in safety science and management. Special attention is given to OSHA rules and regulations covering the workplace.

Safety Management Certificate Requirements
- 12 credits required for certificate completion
- Students should meet with their academic advisor each semester and use Degree Works to monitor their individual progress toward completion of the minor.
- Professional Competence: Anticipate, identify, and evaluate hazardous conditions to minimize risk
- Professional Decision Making: Develop risk control methods, procedures, and programs
- Professional Interaction: Implement and advise others on risk controls and programs
