Associate Professor
This minor will help students build those key skills through foundational coursework while allowing them to choose an area of focus through their selection of upper-level minor electives. The Communication Studies minor is designed to complement any major.
Courses and Curriculum
Students who complete the minor will meet all of the following program learning outcomes:
- Students will present effective and appropriate messages in multiple communication modalities and contexts.
- Students will integrate theory, research, and practice in a variety of communication contexts.
- Students will exhibit social responsibility and professionalism in their communicative interactions with others.
- Students will implement leadership knowledge and skills in a variety of contexts.
- Students will display the communication skills necessary to engage in competent human relational interaction in multiple contexts.
