Student Government Board
The Student Government Board serves as the voice of the students at Commonwealth University - Lock Haven. Our goal is to serve the student body and ensure that each and every student at CU-Lock Haven has a positive learning experience.
Our Purpose
The Lock Haven Student Government Board is organized for the purpose of acting as an official avenue for expressing student concerns, encouraging student involvement, and advocating for quality student life on campus.
Our Mission
The Student Government Board will stimulate pride in the University, and promote a high degree of cooperation and communication among students, faculty, staff, and administration of the CU-Lock Haven campus to safeguard the rights and privileges of all constituents.

SGB Committees
Advocacy Committee
This committee will focus on advocacy issues as they relate to student academics, state and federal support, and PASSHE Board of Governors.
Community Service and Outreach Committee
This committee will focus on University and community support programs and initiatives.
Programming Committee
This committee will develop and implement programs to benefit the student body.
Campus Life Committee
This committee will work to improve campus life and address campus issues as they relate to students.
Executive Board Committee
This committee will handle administrative duties of the Student Government Board. This committee will also work in conjunction with the Director of Student Activities to review and present new club constitutions to the Student Government Board for approval.
