Stephen Kuniak

Dr. Kuniak is an Assistant Professor in Commonwealth University - Lock Haven’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. He has been a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in PA and a clinical supervisor for over 15 years. He holds a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Duquesne University. Additionally, he is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and is a Past President of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association. His areas of clinical experience have centered around family counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, as the clinical director of a counseling agency, and in private practice. Dr. Kuniak's area of interest is in the clinical application of pop culture and gaming in mental health counseling. This includes a special focus on understanding the gaming community as a unique culture.
