Practice Area: The area of practice is as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Urgent Care setting treating patients with acute illnesses and injuries. Foundational experience was in the Family Practice setting managing patients across the life span. Prior to advanced practice nursing there was extensive registered nurse experience over a span of over 25 years in various acute care settings. Nurse Educator experience over the last twenty years teaching practical nursing, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. The setting was in the clinical setting, online, nursing lab, and in the classroom.

Research Interest: Clinical Research that examines treatment protocols and outcomes to provide improved approaches to patient care. Also of interest is Evidence-Based Practice Research which involves investigating ways to integrate the best available evidence into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.
