Laura Baker is a proud alumni of Bloomsburg University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Anthropology in 2010 and her Master's degree in Education in 2013. Upon graduation, Laura worked for 8 years as a therapist, specializing in behavioral management of high-risk youth.
In 2022, Laura transitioned to the role of Development Director at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. During her tenure, she successfully created and managed multiple fundraising events, handled all grant writing and submissions, and fostered strong donor relationships.
In March of 2024, Laura returned to her Alma Mater to join The Bloomsburg University Foundation as the Assistant Director of Annual Fund. In this role, she oversees the Student Engagement Calling Program, Student Philanthropy Council, and University Crowdfunding, in addition to supporting all Annual Giving efforts.
