Dan Knorr is Commonwealth University’s Executive Director of Economic Development & External Affairs. In this role, he serves as a strategic leader and thought partner to the President and Cabinet in the cultivation and management of the institutional relationships, partnerships, and programs that advance the university’s priorities and contribute to the educational, cultural, and professional development of the university’s students and the region. Prior to his time at the university, Dan held local elected office, serving as a Bloomsburg Town Councilmember from 2006-2007 and as Bloomsburg’s Mayor from 2008-2013. Dan earned a BA in Political Science in 2007 and an MBA in 2016, both from Bloomsburg University.
