Who Should Participate?

Any high school junior and senior who wishes to be a music major, music minor, or just wants to continue to be involved in music during college. This is a great way to imagine your future at CU-Bloomsburg!

What is it?

During the day a current CU-Bloomsburg student representative will escort you to and from all classes in the Haas Center for the Arts and also to lunch in the Scranton Commons Dining Hall. If you are interested in a taking a lesson with one of our instrumental or vocal faculty, please let us know and we will schedule a lesson time for you. Students may observe classes in other areas dependent upon availability.

Where is it?

Most classes will take place in the Haas Center for the Arts, but you will also tour campus and enjoy lunch in the Scranton Commons Dining Hall. Upon registration we will develop a personalized itinerary that reflects your interests.

The Office of Admissions will be providing instant decisions for prospective students who submit a completed application at this event! Students must provide a completed application, an official high school transcript and official SAT or ACT scores. Students who submit all the necessary materials will receive an admissions decision by the end of the day. Music majors then only need to complete an audition for full acceptance into CU-Bloomsburg!

Participants will have the option of registering for auditions during the afternoon (1:30 PM - 3:30 PM). Audition requirements and registration can be found on the Music Department Auditions page. Auditioning participants will be notified of music major acceptance status within 2 weeks.
