Act 120 Municipal Police Academy

The Public Safety Training Institute provides initial training for municipal police officers through the Act 120 Municipal Police Academy at Mansfield.

Act 235 Lethal Weapons Training

The Lethal Weapons Training Act 235 provides certification to privately employed agents to carry a lethal weapon. The Mansfield Public Safety Training Institute is an approved Lethal Weapons Training Act 235 facility.

CU-Mansfield can provide on-campus housing at a cost of $42 per night, per student. Additionally, three meals per day, per student can be provided to those lodging for an additional $23.
