Valentine Pet Therapy

Lock Haven

Posted

On Thursday, Feb. 22, a special Valentine Pet Therapy event was held at the Lower Bentley lobby. The event was organized by Outreach for Humanity and led by student Alexis Mayes. Students could make valentine treats for $2 each to give to therapy dogs, Blaze and Bomber. All proceeds benefitted the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Pet Therapy is held regularly on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon and from 1-4 p.m. at the Tutoring Center in Stevenson Library. Anyone who would like to schedule one-on-one time with the dogs or invite therapy dogs to upcoming campus events can contact Reed Mellinger at rbm104@commonwealthu.edu.
