Commonwealth University recently welcomed more than 50 employers to its Bloomsburg campus for the Accounting and Financial Services and the Marketing, Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Technology and Analytics expos.

G-Squared, Enterprise, Baker Tilly, Capital blue cross, DHL, Dyco, Sherwin Williams, and JB Hunt were just a few of the companies represented at the latest expos this fall. Alumni from all three Commonwealth locations were on hand to represent their company and recruit current students from their alma mater.

"The students were wonderful and prepared," said Kaeli Quick, HR Generalist for Faulkner Automotive. "They stand out and are ready to enter the next chapter of their lives."

The “boutique” style career fairs are designed to assist students and employers make connections relevant to their industry.  Such industry-specific expos are open to all students on all campuses, and in all majors and class years. They provide an opportunity for first- and second-year students to practice networking and learning about careers, while also giving third- and fourth-year students a way to find jobs and internships.
