Lock Haven to Host the Program 'Brick by Brick: Creating LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive Classrooms and Spaces'

Lock Haven University will host the program Brick by Brick: Creating LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive Classrooms and Spaces on Thursday, Feb. 16 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Willis Health Professions Center, Greenberg Auditorium Room 105.

The free lunch and learn program, celebrating Welcoming Schools National Day of Reading, is for LHU faculty, staff, and students, as well as open to area teachers and health and human services personnel.

Facilitators will include LHU faculty members Dr. Priya Poehner, middle, secondary, and K-12 education, and Dr. Rick Schulze, health science.

Lunch will be provided, courtesy of the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, also a co-sponsor of the event along with the President's Commission on LGBTQ Affairs and the Gender and Sexuality Alliance Club.

Registration for the event is required by Tuesday, Feb. 14 to fschulze@commonwealthu.edu.
