It's one step closer to the big stage for these Class of 2024 members as they were recently honored during the First World Graduation Ceremony by Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg’s Office of Multicultural Affairs.
The bi-annual First World ceremony is celebrated each fall and spring to congratulate the achievements — academic and leadership roles of Bloomsburg’s multicultural students at the baccalaureate and graduate degree levels.
“You showed up. You all showed up. Not because we asked you to, but because of your commitment to yourself," said Ralph Godbolt, Director of Commonwealth University's Office of Access and Success. "You’re here graduating. Continue to show up for yourself. Continue to show up for family. Continue to show up for community. We all are extraordinarily proud of all of you, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing the difference you continue to make.”
