Bloomburg's chapter of the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) has conducted a photogenic and successful fundraiser for the March of Dimes over the past spring and fall semesters.
This semester, Luna Alexander assisted by Kimberly Speece and Erica Trella, took 50 portraits for students to use on their LinkedIn and social media profiles, and raised $300. In the spring, they took 22 portraits and raised $180.
The portrait fundraiser will return in the spring, with funds going towards the FBLA's goal of $500 for the March of Dimes.
The goal of the March of Dimes is to end preventable maternal health risks and deaths, end preventable preterm birth and infant death, and close the health equity gap.
