Commonwealth University Students Participate in Model EU Simulation

Several student delegations from CU-Bloomsburg and CU-Mansfield participated in the annual University of Pittsburgh Model European Union simulation hosted by Susquehanna University in February. They passed several resolutions pertaining to the war in Ukraine and sustainable agriculture.
The Spanish delegation (Amelia Alfiero and Hughie Curran, Bloomsburg) won Best Position Paper, and the Romanian (Dallas Schultz and Eli Kaufman, Mansfield) and Swedish (Salahudinn Abdul-Hamid and Dom Lazzaro, Bloomsburg) delegations won Honorable Mentions for Best Delegation. Other delegations included Austria (Cassidy Clarke and Gianna Benz, Mansfield), Bulgaria (Gabe Haines, Bloomsburg), Cyprus (Kamila Gonzalez Aquino, Bloomsburg), and Hungary (Leif Tolan, Bloomsburg).
