Bloomsburg University hosted the 19th Annual High School Diversity conference on Nov. 10. Approximately 65 students and 15 educators from eight regional schools joined BU students, staff, faculty, and Bloomsburg community members, for workshops on topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The event also featured performances by the BU Players, which staged two scenes from its run of John Proctor is the Villain and the BU Gospel Choir.

The conference committee is already beginning to develop its plans for the conference’s 20th year anniversary in 2022.

To celebrate the longevity of the conference, the steering committee is seeking corporate sponsorship to help offset the costs of commemorative t-shirts. Interested parties may contact the conference chairperson Christina Francis at 570-389-4661.
