Alpha Sigma Tau at Lock Haven Celebrates Founders' Day with Donation to the Haven Cupboard

Alpha Sigma Tau Zeta Chapter at Commonwealth University-Lock Haven, recently celebrated its 102nd Founders' Day on Friday, April 7.
Hannah Parmenter, vice president of community relations for Alpha Sigma Tau and a social work major from Hagerstown, Maryland, organized a donation drive with Zeta Chapter alumni collecting hygiene and food items for the Haven Cupboard on the Lock Haven campus.
An Amazon Wishlist was created with an array of items for LHU alumni to purchase and contribute.
On April 6, Zeta Chapter members collected monetary donations in downtown Lock Haven, raising $147, which was donated to the Haven Cupboard.
On Founder's Day, April 7, members filled three cars with boxes of donated items and brought them to the Haven Cupboard. The donations weighed 411 pounds with an estimated value of $1,700 - totaling 2,444 items.
