About the Concert: The 14th Annual Dance Minor Concert: Storms of Refusal will feature five original dance pieces and one timely remount. Themes explored include: the act of protest, pollution concerns, the right to speak, think, read, and act freely, and the right to identify as one's true self. Featured sound scores include 1950s tunes, current popular music, podcast interviews, and more. The choreographers for the program are dance minor students Cyal Nelson, Muriel LaMassa, Kaylee Chappell, and their mentor, Professor Julie Petry.
