Commencement at Lock Haven

Tickets & Seating

• Commonwealth University will be utilizing an electronic ticketing system for our commencement ceremonies. You must register for your tickets on or before April 29, 2024. After this date, the waitlist will be filled and tickets will not be guaranteed. There will not be any tickets handed out or be able to be claimed the day of the ceremony.
• Tickets are required to enter Thomas Fieldhouse and Hubert Jack Stadium
• Up to six (6) guests per graduate
  • Additional tickets may be available based on a waitlist
  • There is no guarantee of receiving additional tickets
• Children 2 years of age and under will not require a ticket, but need to sit on a lap
  • No car seats, strollers, etc
  • Wearable baby packs are allowed, but will be subject to inspection
• All seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Ticket Distribution

• Information will be emailed to eligible graduates.

No parking will be available at Hubert Jack Stadium. Signage and Public Safety personnel will direct you to empty lots. The university will be providing shuttle service to the stadium from the lower campus parking lots prior to the start of the ceremony and immediately following the ceremony. Please allow plenty of time to park and arrive at the commencement site.

• Disability parking is available in Lot 16. A handicap placard or license plate is necessary. Please follow posted signs and directions from Public Safety.
• Disability accessible trolleys will transport guests, from Lot 16 only, to the stadium prior to the start of the ceremony and immediately following the ceremony.
• Disability seating is available on the field. One guest may accompany the person with the disability on the field.

The Lock Haven Campus of Commonwealth U is pleased to welcome you to our exceptional athletic facilities. Your safety is a priority to us. Please read the following emergency information plan to help you prepare for your visit and the event you are attending.

• Evacuation
  • Should the need arise to evacuate Jack Stadium, Charlotte Smith Field, or any additional venue for severe weather (most common), all participants should immediately exit the venue following instructions provided by the public address system, event staff, or emergency responders.
• Shelter
  • You may need to take shelter during a severe weather event. During an incident requiring individuals to take shelter, visitors will be directed to locations or buildings closest to the area. Instructions will be provided by the public address system, event staff or emergency responders.
• Mobility Impairment
  • Persons with mobility impairment who need assistance evacuating will be assisted by event staff or emergency responders.
• Medical Emergencies
  • Call 911 if assistance is needed for medical emergencies.
