In expectation of severe weather tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, the Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield campuses will open at 11 a.m. Classes will begin at 11 a.m. and no compressed schedule will be in place.
Clearfield will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 6.
Essential employees must report at their regular time unless otherwise directed by their supervisor.
All other employees should plan to report at 11 a.m. or utilize liberal leave (any available leave), unless otherwise approved by their supervisor.
For in-person and online classes that would normally occur before 11 a.m., faculty have the discretion to decide on the following options, based on their individual situations:
- Cancel class and rework existing class sessions to cover required material;
- Identify an alternative time to meet for required activities (labs, etc.);
- Provide an alternative asynchronous assignment for students; or
- Hold the online class as normally scheduled.
Please use Brightspace and/or email to communicate these changes directly to your students. Students will be encouraged to reach out to their professors directly with any questions.
Athletic Directors should work with their coaches and student-athletes on any practice or game schedule changes.
Students:
Your professor will communicate with you for any alternate arrangements via Brightspace or email. Please watch for notification from your professor. Your professor will reach out to you with any other scheduling changes. Students should refer any questions to their professor.
Dining, Campus Recreation Centers and Transportation:
Bloomsburg
- Scranton Commons Dining Hall, Dunkin, and Husky Lounge will be open at 9 a.m. Menu offerings may be limited.
- Monty’s, Roongo’s Café, retail in Soltz and Scranton Commons, and Starbucks will open at 11 a.m.
- Bussing will be available starting at 10 a.m.
- Recreation Center will open at 9 a.m.
Lock Haven
- Main dining room in Bentley will be open at 7 a.m. Menu offerings may be limited.
- Retail, including Starbucks, will open at 10:30 a.m.
- Trolley service will be available starting at 10 a.m.
- Recreation Center will open at 9 a.m.
Mansfield
- Dining will be open normal operating hours.
- Mountie Express transportation will operate on a normal schedule.
- Recreation Center will open at 9 a.m.
