Wednesday, November 20 - Mansfield Boil Water Advisory

Successful test results have been received and the Boil Water Advisory for select buildings on the Mansfield campus is lifted, effective immediately. Water usage can return to normal.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

8:00 AM

The Boil Water Advisory is still in effect until test results are received. The campus community will be notified when the Boil Water Advisory is removed.

Saturday, November 16 - Mansfield Boil Water Advisory

Water service has been restored to all affected buildings on the Mansfield campus.  

A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for the following buildings until further notice:

  • Oak Hall
  • Spruce Hall
  • Sycamore Hall
  • Kelchner Fitness Center
  • Doane Center

Water testing will occur as soon as possible.

Do not drink the water in the identified buildings without boiling it first. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.

It is safe to shower and wash hands during the boil water advisory. If you are noticing discoloration in the water, let it run until clear.

Bottled water is available at the affected buildings.

9:44 AM

A water leak has occurred on campus near Kelchner Fitness Center. Currently, the following buildings are without water: 

  • Oak Hall
  • Spruce Hall
  • Sycamore Hall
  • Kelchner Fitness Center
  • Doane Center

Bottled water is available at the affected buildings.

Restrooms are open at Manser Hall and Alumni Hall. Restrooms in the residence halls should not be used until the water leak is fixed.
