  2. Check Your University Email

    After you pay your deposit, you will receive a New Student Account letter in your application portal containing your Commonwealth U username and password, giving you access to your university email address, MyCommonwealth, and more! It's important to activate your email as soon as possible as this is the primary way the university will communicate with you.

  3. File Your FAFSA

    Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid. By completing the FAFSA form, you'll make sure you're taking advantage of the best student loan options, as well as become eligible for grants, work-study, and scholarships.
