These Women of Troy
- These Women of Troy is set following the end of the Trojan War, and includes detailed discussions of war, rape, forced labor and enslavement, and other forms of violence that are associated with literary depictions of the war and its aftermath. The play contains dialogue that uses adult language, including terms that some may find offensive or vulgar.
- This production includes descriptions of murder and violence against adults and children; following the tradition of Ancient Greek Tragedy, no graphic violence is depicted onstage. An infant is depicted onstage by a prop (no child actors appear in the show); the infant is taken from his mother, and his eventual death is described within the play and is central to the plot. A funeral ritual for the infant is also depicted.
