After a final grade has been reported to the Registrar's Office, it may be changed only through the grievance process (Reference PRP 3592-Academic Grievance Procedure) or to correct a computational or clerical error. A recommendation for change of grade due to a computational or clerical error to a final grade must be made by the instructor using the appropriate change of grade form and approved by the department chairperson and the dean of the appropriate college. The change of a temporary grade including R, I and X to a final grade must be made by the instructor using the appropriate form and approved by the department chairperson.
